A single 8mm anchor body accepts wood screws and chipboard screws from 4mm to 7mm in diameter, covering the vast majority of light to medium duty fixing applications. The anchor achieves multi-screw compatibility through a flexible internal collar with graduated thread engagement zones. Smaller screws engage the deeper inner zone, while larger screws engage the full diameter bore. The side wing deploys reliably across the full screw range, with the barb reach adjusting proportionally to the screw diameter for consistent anti-rotation performance.

The smooth tapered nose guides the universal anchor into the drill hole for hammer-set insertion.
