The anchor collar accepts 2-3 pre-turns of the screw before insertion, allowing the installer to align screw and anchor as a single assembly for faster batch installation. After hammering the anchor flush, the screw is driven home with a standard screwdriver or power driver. The wing deploys progressively as the screw advances, forming a barb that prevents the two most common failure modes of plastic expansion anchors: rotation during screw tightening and gradual pull-back under sustained load.
