This PA6 Nylon Hollow Wall Wing Anchor is a heavy-duty vibration-resistant fastening solution designed for ventilation fans, exhaust fans, bathroom extractor units, and kitchen range hood mounting brackets on hollow brick, plasterboard, and aerated concrete substrates. Each anchor includes a 10mm diameter nylon expanding wing plug pre-matched with an M6 x 55mm zinc-plated self-tapping screw, providing secure anchoring that resists the continuous vibration generated by electric fan operation.

The installation follows the vibration-resistant hollow wall anchoring principle: drill a 10mm hole at each fan mounting bracket position, insert the nylon plug until the flange is flush with the wall surface, position the fan bracket, and drive the M6 screw through the bracket into the plug. As the screw advances, it compresses the nylon body and triggers the internal folding wings to spread behind the wall cavity. These wings create a positive rear-side mechanical lock that, critically, is unaffected by the continuous micro-vibration from electric fan motors - unlike metal expansion anchors that can gradually work loose under sustained vibration.
