Product Description

This PA6 Nylon Hollow Wall Wing Anchor is a medium-duty fastening solution designed for decorative wall panels, PVC wall boards, interior wall cladding, and architectural trim installations on plasterboard and hollow block substrates. Each anchor includes an 8mm diameter PA6 nylon expanding wing plug pre-matched with an M5 x 45mm zinc-plated self-tapping screw, providing dependable anchoring for interior decorative wall applications.

The installation follows the reliable hollow wall anchoring principle: drill an 8mm hole at each panel mounting clip position, insert the nylon plug until the flange is flush with the wall surface, position the panel mounting clip, and drive the M5 screw through the clip into the plug. As the screw advances, it compresses the nylon body and triggers the internal wings to fold outward behind the wall cavity. These wings spread to create a positive mechanical grip on the rear side of the wall board, securely anchoring decorative panels without the risk of anchors pulling through thin wall coverings over time.

The nylon material provides excellent toughness and long-term dimensional stability, maintaining consistent wing expansion force through the entire service life of interior decorative wall installations. The nylon plug body is completely rust-proof and unaffected by interior humidity, cleaning products, or temperature variations. The 45mm plug length with 5mm minimum wall thickness accommodates the most common residential plasterboard specifications, while the medium M5 screw provides appropriate fastening strength for decorative panel systems.
