The Long Length Insulation Plastic Wall Plug is specifically designed for external wall insulation systems where the anchor must penetrate through thick EPS or XPS thermal insulation board and embed deeply into the structural substrate behind it. The extended nylon PA6 body ranges from 80mm to 140mm in total length, allowing it to pass through insulation layers up to 100mm thick while still embedding a full 30-40mm into the solid brick or concrete base wall. The plug body features a smooth barrel section that passes through the insulation without compressing it and a standard expansion zone at the tip that anchors in the substrate when the long screw is tightened. The high-toughness engineering plastic delivers exceptional tensile strength to resist wind uplift loads on façade insulation, stays permanently rust-free, and resists acid-alkali degradation from mortar, render, and environmental exposure. Installation requires a deep drill hole through the insulation into the substrate, cleaning all dust, inserting the long plug fully to the collar, mounting the long screw on the driver bit, and rotating clockwise to tighten — the expansion zone in the substrate provides structural anchoring while the barrel section holds the insulation board firmly against the wall.
